The funny thing about love is, there’s absolutely nothing funny about it. Have you ever been in love? It’s a pretty serious question, and half the people who answer it are guaranteed to lie. Maybe I should rephrase it: Have you ever felt so happy that even if you’re musically impaired, you could write a hit song. Have you ever felt high even though you were completely sober? Have you fought for something that made you tear your hair out, cry, and then feel so happy then you can’t remember what it was like to be sad? Euphoric? Drives you insane? Yeah, that’s love. That’s my version of love, but that’s the thing about love, it’s different for everyone, that’s what makes you fall so hard.
Heartbreak just doesn’t seem right anymore. The saying “I’ve loved and I’ve lost” Yeah…it’s not one to live by. Once you do fall in love, please make sure not to lose it, even if you’re tempted to use that quote. Losing someone you love is a huge slap in the face, and an even bigger walk back into reality. Missing someone? Oh man, that’s the worst part. To crave someone and they are nowhere near you, or don’t want to be anywhere near you. Please don’t lose what you love.
Easier said than done, right? You f*ck up amazing things, and then you’re laying on your bed one day and find yourself balling your eyes out because you just have been hit with the reality of heartbreaks..it happens. It’s amazing and terrifying how one person can control you, how one person can get stuck in your head to the point of insanity. Love is a drug and it controls you, it’s a drug, trust me. You are almost guaranteed to come across it once, try not to misuse it.
